SteamWise provides cleaning and sanitization services using high-temperature steam and eco-friendly cleaning products where required.

Services may include but are not limited to:

  • Shower and bathroom cleaning
  • Tile and grout cleaning
  • Oven and range hood cleaning
  • Mattress and upholstery sanitisation
  • Heat pumps and Air conditioners

Cleaning Method

SteamWise primarily uses high-temperature dry steam to remove dirt, grease, bacteria, mould, and other contaminants.
Eco-friendly cleaning agents, degreasers, or descaling products may be used where required to assist with removing:

• • Grease and cooking residues
  • Soap scum and body oils
  • Hard water or mineral deposits
  • Mould and bacterial contamination

Sanitisation Disclaimer

High-temperature steam can significantly reduce bacteria, mould, and microorganisms. However, complete sterilisation cannot be guaranteed, and surfaces may become re-contaminated through normal use.

Expected Results

We always aim to achieve the best possible cleaning result. Final results depend on the age, condition, previous treatment, and severity of contamination.
Cleaning improves hygiene and appearance but cannot reverse permanent damage, wear, staining, or etching.

Pre-Existing Wear & Damage

Once heavy build-up is removed, existing damage may become more visible.
SteamWise is not responsible for:

• • Scratches, staining, or etching already present
  • Sun-damaged or weakened fabrics
  • Deteriorated grout, silicone, or seals
  • Rusted or deteriorated appliance components
  • Loose fixtures or fittings

If cleaning is likely to cause damage, we may pause work and discuss options with the client.

Curtains & Blinds

Curtains and blinds are generally cleaned while hanging to minimise disruption. If removal is required, we will discuss return options with you.
SteamWise cannot be responsible for fabric failure caused by prior sun damage, age, or wear.

Showers & Glass

Shower glass and tiles may develop permanent staining or etching from:

• • Hard water minerals
  • Harsh chemical cleaners
  • Abrasive scrubbing
  • Long-term neglect

Cleaning may improve appearance but cannot restore etched glass to its original condition.

Ovens & Range Hoods

Cleaning includes removal of grease, carbon deposits, and cooking residue from accessible surfaces.
The service does not include:

• • Structural or electrical repairs
  • Replacement of parts (seals, motors, elements)
  • Deep mechanical disassembly of appliances

Travel & Service Area

SteamWise operates within a local service area. Jobs outside this area may incur travel charges or minimum service values based on distance, travel time, and operating costs.
Travel fees will be included in the quote or itemised on the invoice.

Pricing

Quotes are based on standard cleaning conditions.
Additional charges may apply if:

• • Build-up is significantly heavier than expected
  • Access restrictions increase service time
  • Additional services are requested

Where possible, additional work will be discussed before proceeding.

Payment Terms

• • Payment is due upon completion of the service unless otherwise agreed.
  • Commercial clients may receive 7-day invoice terms.
  • Late payments may incur administration or collection costs.

Liability

SteamWise performs services with care; however, liability is limited to the value of the service provided.
SteamWise is not responsible for:

• • Pre-existing damage
  • Wear revealed during cleaning
  • Re-contamination after service

Post-Service Concerns

Any concerns must be reported within 48 hours so they can be reviewed and addressed.

By accepting a quote or booking a service, the client acknowledges and agrees to these Service Terms & Conditions.
